RIVER RHYMES

It’s so easy to rhyme the Zambezi,

And no frenzy to rhyme the Mackenzie.

Even seaways like the St. Lawrence

See ways to end as rhyme warrants….

But one would have to ban walking

To come near rhyming the San Joaquin,

And, of course, if you force the River Rhine

Just off course, it flows into the river rhyme.

the Nile river flows north defying all logic and of course you can be in it without being in Egypt as in being in deNile and where I’m going with this I don’t know. But good one Muse.

Thanks, Don. I didn’t know where I was going with this poem at the end, but sometimes you just “go with the flow” until it works out (or not).
